With a distinct portfolio of over 1,500 branded and independent hotels globally, our client represents a talented team of 3,000 hospitality specialists who create a seamless guest experience and pride themselves in delivering outstanding service.
Our mandate was to execute an international executive search for a candidate to take full responsibility for our client’s international division and secure someone capable of leading all aspects of the business and driving continuous growth. Our client had recently merged with another major hotel group and the focus was to now find a development-driven candidate who could leverage opportunities in the market and substantially expand the portfolio.
Success:
Following a rigorous global search of the market, our client was delighted to appoint an entrepreneurial leader, with over 25 years of experience, who had held multiple senior roles with leading international hotel groups.
Operating in both branded and independent properties, our candidate has led companies within multiple structures, including owned and operated, hotel management agreements and franchises. Most recently our candidate led a luxury hotel and leisure group, leading a team of over 3,500 employees.
Commencing in this new role at the end of 2021, our candidate is working closely with the board to define and develop the strategy for growth.
